Hocking County: Hocking Hills State Park, is an internationally acclaimed park. It covers 2,356 acres and features towering cliffs, thrilling waterfalls, and deep, hemlock-shaded gorges. The park offers over 25 miles of hiking trails, rock formations, and recess caves. The park is made up of several notable vistas: Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave, Conkle's Hollow, Cedar Falls & Rock House. All within 38 miles.
Scioto County: The Portsmouth Floodwall Murals are an iconic Ohio landmark that portrays the local history through exquisitely painted murals. Over 55 murals adorn the floodwalls, each depicting a moment in time. 36 miles
Vinton County: Lake Hope State Park, with hummingbird feeding, swimming, fishing and boat rentals is near Zaleski. Nearby, Moonville Tunnel, a popular “haunted” railroad tunnel, in Zaleski State Forest is now part of the Moonville Rail Trail. You can hike, horseback or bike. The Rail Trail stretches 20 miles from the little town of Zaleski to the historic town of Mineral in Athens County. All within 38 miles.
Ross County: Chillicothe, established in 1796 and Ohio’s first capital, is just 30 miles away. Experience the rich history of the Shawnee and the Hopewell cultures. Learn about the Underground Railroad. Visit Adena Mansion, site of the Great Seal of Ohio. Plan to see Tecumseh, the award-winning outdoor drama. Shop & dine in the revitalized, historic downtown.

Gallia County: The Merry Family Winery is housed in the former Jewell Evans Grist Mill. The winery is family owned and operated. Sample their handcrafted wines and sit a spell on the front porch rockers. The winery has rooms available for large groups. Pike County: Get your tickets for Dogwood Pass, an outdoor drama set in an old west town. You can also experience our Amish culture with many greenhouses, bakeries, furniture stores & produce stands. 12 miles.
Jackson County: Lake Katherine, a State Preserve, boasts miles of scenic trails and a beautiful waterfall. Hammertown Lake, a Jackson City reservoir, allows hand or electric powered vessels, has miles of trails for horse or human, a shelter house, good fishing and kayak rentals. Visit the Markay Cultural Arts Center. Built in 1930, it was remodeled and reopened in 2015 as a live performance venue. You can enjoy plays, music, events and art exhibits. 12 miles
